Fuel Equipment Rental Catalog — Southeast Florida
Exigo Fuels rents commercial-grade fuel handling equipment across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties for construction sites, temporary fleet yards, generator installations, marine operations, and emergency response deployments. All equipment is EPA-compliant, double-wall where applicable, delivered and set up on site, and backed by 24/7 fuel dispatch support.
Fuel Storage Tanks
Our double-wall steel tank fleet ranges from 500-gallon skid-mounted units for small construction sites to 5,000-gallon bulk storage tanks for extended deployments. Every tank is built to UL-142 (aboveground steel tank) specifications with integrated secondary containment, NFPA 30 and NFPA 30A compliance, leak detection sensors in the interstitial space, emergency venting, and fill-level gauging. Tanks ship with standard fittings (2-inch and 4-inch threaded openings, 10-foot drop pipe, vacuum/pressure vent, spill container, and overfill protection).
Typical rental applications include: road and bridge construction fuel supply (DOT contractors across I-95, I-75, and Turnpike corridors), high-rise building fuel for cranes and tower generators, hurricane staging for municipal fleets, temporary marina fueling during dock repair, reefer container yard fuel at Port Everglades and PortMiami, and farm-site diesel storage during planting or harvest cycles in western Miami-Dade.
Rental periods run from one-week minimum up to multi-year deployments. Long-term rentals (90+ days) qualify for reduced rates and scheduled fuel delivery contracts. All tanks arrive pre-inspected with current tank certification documentation available on request.
Fuel Dispensers and High-Flow Pumps
Digital fuel dispensers combine calibrated positive-displacement flow meters (±0.5% accuracy), backlit LCD displays, automatic shut-off nozzles, breakaway couplings, and manual or automatic ticket printing for fleet recordkeeping. Dispensers are rated for diesel, gasoline, and kerosene, and can be configured with card-lock access control (HOS-style fleet ID, mag-stripe, or RFID) for multi-operator yards that need per-driver usage tracking.
High-flow transfer pumps are available in 50 GPM (portable), 100 GPM (mid-flow), and 300 GPM (bulk transfer) configurations. All pumps are explosion-proof rated (Class I Division 1, UL-listed), available in electric (120V/240V/480V three-phase) or hydraulic drive, with self-priming impellers, internal bypass valves, and UL-331 compliant strainers. Hose options include 20-foot, 50-foot, and 100-foot lengths with cam-lock or NPT threaded connections.
Portable Transfer Equipment
Portable fuel transfer kits bundle a 50-GPM electric pump, 20-foot suction hose with foot valve, 20-foot discharge hose with nozzle, grounding cable, and quick-disconnect fittings in a rugged carry case. Ideal for temporary fuel relocation, tank-to-tank transfers during refurbishment, emergency fuel polishing setups, and mobile generator refueling at remote sites without fixed infrastructure.
Larger transfer trailers (1,000-gallon or 2,000-gallon capacity) include integrated pump, meter, hose reel, and DOT-compliant placarding for customers who need to move fuel between yards or sites themselves.
Real-Time Fuel Monitoring Systems
Every Exigo storage tank can be equipped with a cellular-connected level monitoring system that reports fuel level, temperature, water intrusion, and leak-detection events to a web dashboard and mobile alerts. Features include: real-time percent-full tracking, automated low-level reorder triggers tied to our dispatch system, consumption analytics by day/week, theft and anomalous-drop detection, and exportable audit logs for customers with EPA reporting obligations.
Monitoring is included at no charge on multi-year rentals and is available as an add-on for short-term deployments. Data is hosted in US-based infrastructure with SOC 2 Type II-compliant security controls.
Who Rents From Us
- Construction contractors — temporary diesel storage at road, bridge, high-rise, and infrastructure sites. Typical configuration: 1,000-gal or 2,000-gal double-wall tank + digital dispenser + monitoring.
- Fleet operators — yard fueling for refrigerated trucking, waste management fleets, landscaping companies, and school districts. See Fleet Fueling Services.
- Generator installations — day tank and bulk support at data centers, hospitals, and municipal critical-infrastructure sites. Paired with Generator Refueling contracts.
- Marine operations — temporary dock-side storage during marina refurbishment or special events, plus portable dispensing for yacht service centers.
- Emergency response — hurricane-staging deployments to municipal staging yards, pre-positioned tanks for utility crew support, and post-event fleet refueling. See the Hurricane Fuel Preparedness Checklist.
- Agriculture — planting and harvest-season diesel storage for western Miami-Dade, Homestead, and Glades-corridor operations.
Rental Process
The process runs in four steps. First, a scoping call to confirm fuel type (diesel, gasoline, heating oil), required capacity, dispensing configuration, rental duration, and site access. Second, a site evaluation — either on-site visit or photo survey — to confirm grade, setback distances, fire code compliance (NFPA 30A), and delivery-truck access.
Third, a written rental agreement with equipment specs, rental rate, deposit, and delivery schedule. Fourth, delivery and on-site setup including tank placement, grounding, dispenser hookup, monitoring activation, and operator training. All equipment ships with written operating instructions, an emergency-contact card, and a fuel dispatch line.
